This card shows a typical boat used to ply the shallow waters of the Zambezi River near Victoria Falls, amidst the mist of the plunge. This is an excellent way to view hippos, Sacred Ibis and many other wild species that inhabit the national park around the falls.
These are some of the stunning postcards that have come to me from among the world's most remote places and islands, with a special focus on the scenery, wildlife and culture of Africa. If you live or travel in exotic places, send along a card to display on the site. See also "Africa Stamps" on Facebook or Contact: maravalman @ gmail.com
