This lovely card came to me from Fiji in the Pacific, and shows the Fiji Cultural Center, featuring a traditional chiefly house, or bure kalou.

Sao Tome & Principe

This card, posted in 2006, shows three scenes from the remote St. Thomas and Prince Islands, an independent country just off the W. African state of Gabon. These islands are mountainous and lush, with cacao groves and some tourism. This country gained independence in 1975.
